Travel: How to get there and move around
Our wedding will take place in the village of Carvoeiro, nearby the city of Portimao in the beautiful region of Algarve. This being said, we will need you to get in there safe and sound.
Planes
For our Brazilian & outside of Europe families & friends
There is no direct flights to Faro which is the closest airport. Depending on your plans, we would advise to land in Lisbon International Airport and rent a car to go there an visit Portugal.
For the booking, we work with a Brazilian travel agency to get you the peace of mind and also the opportunity to travel together a simple formality.

There are direct daily flights to the Faro Airport from most major European cities.

Cars
For those not needing the flexibility and especially those landing in Faro, there are many taxi services to and from the village of Carvoeiro at affordable prices (8€/10min ride approximately).
For those who want a car, last time we traveled to Portugal, we discovered a great "old-school" rental company. You are met just outside of the arrival exit, accompanied to the car and given the keys after a check up. The prices are on par with other international companies but with the personal service on top.
Therefore, except if you have special conditions with other companies, it is our recommendation.

Same concept as Algarve Seco. An amazing view with appartment or villas with more nights flexibility than Algarve Seco.
Indicative price range about 1000€ (2 ppl suite) to 2000€ for a Villa (4ppl) for 7 nights
